Booking Software for Lash Technicians

Booked as one generic slot, they run into each other by afternoon: the full set runs over, and the next customer is on the sofa watching you finish someone else's lashes. Set the full set and the infill up as separate services, each with its own length, so the calendar holds back the right amount of time for what was actually booked. A break between bookings covers the minutes the room needs to turn over rather than the minutes you hoped it would take, and anything you charge for on top, a removal for instance, can sit on the service as an optional paid add-on.

An infill left too long stops being an infill: the extensions have shed enough that the set needs redoing, not refilling. The appointment that protects against that is the one made before your customer stands up from this one. Set the booking to recur and the slot holds on the two-to-three-week clock you agreed, instead of getting rebuilt in DMs every few weeks. With your customer's permission, the card on file is charged each time the appointment happens, so the next infill is already on the calendar by the time she's out the door, not a conversation you have to start. When one week has to move, that booking is rescheduled to another time and the clock carries on from there.

You can't pick up the phone with tweezers in both hands and someone's eyes closed under the lamp, and a full set can take most of a morning. That's what online booking for lash artists is for: the widget goes on your own website with a script tag, or you send people to a standalone kiwilaunch booking page with your own domain on it, which is the link that belongs in your bio. Someone picks a service and a time and pays by card in the same flow, and the booking is on your calendar before you've moved to the second eye.

One artist can hold every regular's infill clock in her head: who's due back and when. Two or three artists can't, and a customer whose lashes are shedding doesn't care whose chair she's in, only that the infill lands before the set is gone. Add each artist as a staff member with their own shifts and their own calendar, so a client who booked with one artist keeps landing on that artist's calendar as the studio grows. Change a shift and the booking page updates behind it. Payments run on Stripe in both the booking flow and the admin panel, so a card taken beside any chair, a refund, or an extra charge all land in one dashboard.

You stand up from a full set with a few minutes before the next one, and that's not enough time to sit down at a laptop. Check today's calendar and see who's on it, confirm a customer's infill is already booked before she's out the door, and take a card in person with Tap to Pay on iPhone, with no reader to buy or keep charged. A card taken beside the lash bed lands in the same dashboard as one paid on the booking page, so nothing has to be typed up later.
