Handyman Booking Software for One-Off Jobs
Nearly every job is a new address and a customer you've never met. kiwilaunch takes the booking while you're still on the tools: the visit is already priced by its length, the address has to sit inside the area you're willing to drive to, and the card can be taken at the door before you load up for the next one.
- Jobs booked from your own website at any hour, with no call to answer
- Callout, half day and full day as separate services, each with its own length and price
- A travel radius per service, so an address you won't drive to can't book you
- Card taken at the door with Tap to Pay on iPhone, no reader to carry

Handyman scheduling software for a day made of separate addresses
Nothing about tomorrow repeats. A dripping trap on one street, a door that won't latch two towns over, then a full day of shelving for somebody who has never heard of you. kiwilaunch is booking software for handyman services, built around a customer you haven't met yet and an address you haven't been to. The visit is the unit: a callout, a half day and a full day are three separate services, each with its own price and its own length. Coverage is set per service by ZIP, post code, or area name, so how far you'll go is decided before the job exists.
Work that books itself while you're under a sink
The phone rings at the worst moment every time: halfway up a ladder, hands full, water still running. Online booking for handyman business owners solves one thing before it solves anything else, which is that the work arrives while you're doing the work. Your booking page keeps taking jobs while you finish the one in front of you, so someone picks Tuesday morning instead of leaving a voicemail and calling the next name on the list. If there's a second person on the truck, they get their own shifts and their own calendar, so two jobs in the same hour is a plan rather than a collision.
Price the visit, not the guess
If you sell your day as a callout, a half day and a full day, set each one up as its own service with its own price and its own length. The customer picks the one that matches what they're describing, and the length is what stops a four-hour job being dropped into forty minutes of your afternoon. Optional paid add-ons cover what sits on top: materials, a second hour, taking the old unit away. And where nobody can price the job until somebody has looked at it, that's a service too, a short paid callout with a length of its own.
A travel radius the booking page holds to
You set the area you'll drive to for each service, by ZIP, post code, or area name. An address outside it can't complete a booking, so the drive is ruled out before the job exists rather than on the morning of it. Because coverage is set per service, the map changes with the work: a full day of carpentry may be worth crossing the county for when a twenty-minute callout never is. A break between bookings covers the rest of the driving, so the eleven o'clock isn't already late when the nine o'clock finishes on time.
Paid at the door, before you drive to the next one
Payments run on Stripe, in the booking flow and in your admin panel. A customer can pay when they book, you can send them a payment link, or you can take the card at the door once the job is done and they've seen it. When the work turns out bigger than the booking, you agree the difference with the customer while you're standing in front of it and add the extra charge from the dashboard, which is a better conversation than an invoice that turns up three days later. Refunds run from the same place, and coupon codes are there for the customer who calls you back.
The van is the office and the phone is the desk
You're not going back to a computer between jobs, so kiwilaunch runs on the iPhone. Before you pull away, check where the next address is and what was booked for it. When the customer asks on your way out whether you could do the gate next week too, put it on the calendar standing on the path instead of trying to remember it at nine that night. Then take the card with Tap to Pay on iPhone, against the top of the phone, with no reader to buy or keep charged, so the job is settled before you're back in the driver's seat.
