Junk Removal Booking Software for Crews

Most people clearing a garage would rather not describe it to a stranger on the phone just to find out what it costs. Put a single item, a half load and a full load on your page as separate services, and the question gets answered the moment they finally sit down and face the room. They pick the size that matches what they're looking at, take a slot, and pay by card, and the booking reaches you with an address and a time on it.

They booked a half load. You're looking at a full one, and there's a shed on top of it. Because the job was priced by volume in the first place, the difference is a conversation rather than a rebooking: agree it on the spot and add the extra charge from your dashboard. If it goes the other way and there's less there than they thought, refund from the same place. What's riding on that number isn't only what they pay you. It's what the transfer station is going to charge you for the same load once you get there.

Two identical full loads can be completely different days depending on how far the stuff has to travel to reach the truck. A third floor with no elevator. A basement with a turn in the stairs. A driveway you cannot back onto. Set those as optional paid add-ons so your customer chooses them and pays for them up front, and give each service the length that work really takes. A break between bookings is where the run to the transfer station goes, which is the part of the day that never shows up on anybody's quote.

You set a coverage area for each service, by ZIP, post code, or area name, and an address outside it can't complete a booking. For most trades that boundary is about the drive out. Yours is about the drive back, because every job finishes with a full truck that has to end up somewhere with a scale. Draw the areas around the sites you actually use, and let a full load reach further than a single item ever should. Add your crew as staff members with their own shifts and their own calendars, so a two-truck day is something you set up in advance rather than something you sort out the morning of.

Your calendar, your customers, your bookings and your payments are on the phone in your pocket, which is the whole office when the truck is the business. See the next address and what was booked for it before you pull off the driveway. Then take the card at the tailgate with Tap to Pay on iPhone, against the top of the phone, with no reader to buy or keep charged. The load is already on the truck and the price just changed, so the last thing you want is to drive to the transfer station with the money still open.
